I found Donna by using Google. Normally I am a little wary about using internet services because frankly you never know what you will get.

The first guy that I called was rather overpriced, but he had a nice looking website. I passed because I felt he was way too overpriced.

I went to Donna’s website and it looked nice also. I called Donna for a price quote and she gave me a very reasonable estimate. She also said that the actual cost would not exceed the estimate. I liked that.

When I talked to Donna I got the sense that she was a bit of a perfectionist. Who better to edit my manuscript? This particular manuscript was a little complex in that there were so many mistakes that it would actually have to be read and not lightly scanned over.

Donna returned the manuscript in record time and billed me below the estimate. I would gladly work with Donna again as she is also pleasant to talk to on the phone. I would highly recommend her proofreading services. I had no problems, only results, with Donna.

Over the past year, I co-authored with my former platoon leader Ed Polonitza a book titled Honor and Courage . This book is an account of the combat experiences of A Company, 2nd Battalion (Airborne), 8th Cavalry, during the Vietnam War.

While we were comfortable with the facts of our story, we felt the need for a strong editor to pull the book together and bring it to final conclusion.
